Laboratory Council

The laboratory council is composed of 10 members elected from among the permanent staff for a period of 4 years and who represent the different sectors and services. The director is a member as well as a representative elected among the PhD students. Its role is to define the policy of the Laboratory.

Scientific Council

The Scientific Council, meeting once or twice a year, including part of the Laboratory Council as well as external personalities recognized for their scientific competence, is in charge of judging the scientific actions of the Laboratory as well as proposing new lines of development at the scientific level (new themes, audit of scientific activities).

Projects Unit

The project unit is made up of the Director, the CESPI correspondent and department managers. Its role is to analyze any new project according to 5 axes: specifications, costs, needs (manpower), project risk and project organization. To do this, it organizes “opportunity reviews”. It ensures the medium to long term planning of the projects (activity of the workload plan and a forecast of the evolution of the needs in specific skills and professions.

IT-CNRS Internal Joint Committee

The joint commission is composed of the Director, 4 members elected from the IT-CNRS college, one member per body (research engineers, design engineers, assistant engineers and technicians) and 3 members appointed by the management, elected for 4 years. This commission is consulted on decisions concerning the career of the IT-CNRS staff of the laboratory. The president of the commission may convene experts at the request of the administration or staff representatives to be heard on an item on the agenda.
